Borrow, Read, Return — Keep Knowledge Flowing

Borrowing requirements:

•Library Card to be issued by the Librarian

•School Identification Card

•Account Card

Check-out/Borrowing Policy:

•Bonafide ICI Students may loan 3 academic books and one (1) fiction at the same time.

•Library card should not be transferred nor lend to the borrower’s classmate/friend.

•Borrowed books can be lend to borrower’s classmate, however, the accountability remains to the borrower in case the book is missed / lost.

•Photocopy of a portion of the book is allowed. Reproduction of the whole cope of any library material is strictly prohibited.

Book Renewal Policy:

•Not in-demand books or with multiple copies may be renewed twice.

•To renew, the borrower must present the book to the attending librarian or reply to the SMS reminder from LMC

Overdue Policy:

•Should there be overdue books, the Librarians send a notice via SMS. The Borrowers may reply to the text message informing the Librarians their inability to return           on time and the nearest possible date you can return the book.

•If fail to return or renew your borrowed books after 2 consecutive text reminders, the borrower should settle his/her overdue fine.

•Charge is PhP5.00 per day (NOT per book) to be verified by the Chief Librarian.

Damaged/Lost Book:

•A Lost or damaged book should be reported immediately to the Chief Librarian.

•If the book is declared lost or damaged, the borrowers opt for 2 options: 

     •Replace with same or related title OR

     •Pay the exact amount based on the accession record.
