'Paskuhan's S-class spectacle overjoys ICONs
ICINSTITUTIONS - ICP and ICI ICONs are undoubtedly flattered by their experience in IC Instititutions 'Paskuhan' 2023 as performers and featured artists gave their top-notch quality and unleashed their respective skills last Monday, December 11 at the gymnasium of ICI Senior High School Colegio De Roma Campus, Balagtas, Bulacan.
Prior to the event , ICONs lined up as they anticipate the exciting performances from this lineup which include : Nowan, Jc Herrero, Magiliw Street, Similar Sky, Dionela, and Nobita.
The program started with a prayer, followed by an artistic dance from ICP San Jose Del Monte Dance Alliance, and an intermission number from ICI Balagtas Dance Troupe.
On top of that, the homegrown band of ICInstitutions, ICONic Band, put up an explosive performance as they covered the song "Ere" which was originally sung by JK Labajo.
Afterwards, the artists started to unleash their unique skills and music as independent bands and musicians performed in the event started by Kobs Band, followed by Nowan, who performed his chilling and serene tunes that the crowd loved , and Magiliw Street.
In the midst of these performances, ICP Meycauayan's "Indak Icons" Dance Troupe fired up the stage as they set the spectators in awe of their skills and passion for dance and their aesthetic dark outfits which suited their blazing groove.
After their stunning engagement in ICI's spotlight, some of the dancers of "Indak Icons" expressed their off-stage insights and remarks about performing in front of ICONs of ICI Balagtas and ICP campuses, they instantly became crowd-favorites as the spectators applauded their flickering performance.
"Nakakagalak na maging parte ako ng ganitong performance dahil mas lumalawak ang aking potential as a dancer. At, kung papaano ang pag choreo ng isang sayaw at mas makasama ang aking mga co-members and mga officers na maganda ang pamamalakad sa Indak Icons like ni kuya Howard [Saguitang] and ate Lucia [Mariñas]," Georgia Muyco, member of ICP Meycauayan's Indak Icons, told La Icona.
Another member of Indak Icons, Gian Micolai Delos Santos opened his remarks about their performance to La Icona journos quote, "Super exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Nakakaproud na naibahagi naming Indak Icons ang talent namin when it comes to dancing. And we gained so many friends in Paskuhan 2023 kaya super warm sa feeling. BEST PASKUHAN EVER!!!"
On the other hand, rising band Similar Sky was also present in this year's 'Paskuhan', they also sung the song "Acacia" that told about their journey in the music industry.
Trendsetters Nobita and Dionela fired 'Paskuhan's' grand finale.
One of the fastest-rising Filipino soloists, Dionela, was highly-anticipated in the event and made the crowd cheer and scream as he performed his trendy hits such as "Musika", and "Bahaghari".
ICONs, who were already in awe of Dionela's music, were still prepared for more as the most-anticipated artist of the event, Nobita, is going to perform next to put a memorable conclusion to the wonderful event.
Soon after, one of the most popular bands in the country, Nobita, formally arrived at ICI's gymnasium and grounds to give an unforgettable spectacle to ICONs who have waited a long time to hear his iconic tunes.
Upon their arrival, the band warmly greeted the audience ; it was soon followed by their grand performance in which they performed their biggest hits "Unang Sayaw" and "Ikaw Lang" as the crowd started to sing-along to the highly-recognizable hits of the quintet.
At the end of the event, ICONs went home with great memories to remember and some of them shared their experience with Iconic Times.
"Honestly speaking, the Paskuhan feels so unreal, it makes us so so happy and enjoy the moment together with the other ICONs. Imagine the song you've been listening on repeat are now being performed live by your beloved idols? feels great, right? And, that's exactly my point, the Paskuhan activity makes all our heart flatter and filled with joy! It's a core memory that feels so beautiful to look back with," Maita Estephanie Miranda, a Grade 11 ICON, told the journalists.
"Super super worth it yung binayad, kilig, saya, sakit isa lng to sa mga nardaman ko nung na experience ko siya and nasabe ko sa sarili ko na I'll join again next year to experience this, our school makes the most memorable experience, as for me na isa sa student napaka worth it talaga," added by Ashley Gordola, who is also a Grade 11 ICON.
