QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES - Russel Dela Cruz, a CBEA student of ICI College and a former Senior High ICON from ICP Senior High School - Main Campus (Santa Maria) had won the daily round of 'Tawag ng Tanghalan : The School Showdown' versus Aika of KCAST school Thursday 3:30 P.M. on It's Showtime. 

"Thank you for your spectacular success and commitment to your musical passion. Soar high and vision further success in your upcoming endeavors, RUS!", said ICInstitutions in a unified post in their Facebook pages, commemorating Dela Cruz's feat. 

Dela Cruz is expected to vie again for glory in the second round of the competition.
