Education Programs

ICI College offers degree programs designed to prepare students for meaningful careers in education, technical-vocational fields, and physical development. These four-year programs provide students with strong academic foundations, practical skills, and professional competencies needed to become effective educators, trainers, and industry practitioners.

The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) program provides students with a solid foundation in the principles and concepts of physical education, sports, and human movement. It develops graduates who can effectively mentor learners in physical fitness, sports development, and movement education. Students are trained to apply scientific and evidence-based practices in teaching, demonstrate skillful performance in various physical activities, and use innovative teaching methods and appropriate educational technology to enhance physical education learning.

The Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) program aims to develop highly competent and motivated teachers who can teach technical and vocational courses. It equips students with knowledge and practical skills in fields such as computer education, food service management, and other technical disciplines, while strengthening their understanding of teaching principles and methodologies. The program prepares graduates to teach in technical-vocational institutions and to perform specialized technical roles in various industries.

One specialization under this program is the Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Major in HE–Food Service Management, which focuses on culinary arts, food preparation and presentation, restaurant and catering operations, sanitation and safety standards, and hospitality management. Students gain both industry skills and teaching competencies, enabling them to train future professionals in food service and hospitality while also being capable of working in the food and restaurant industry.

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) program is designed to prepare future educators who specialize in teaching young learners, particularly children from birth to eight years old. The program develops teachers who are knowledgeable in child development, early learning strategies, classroom management, and curriculum planning for preschool and primary education. Graduates are trained to create nurturing and engaging learning environments that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
