The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) program is a four-year program which provides general accounting education to learners who wish to pursue a professional career as accountants, particularly as public accountants. The graduates of this program shall qualify to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulations Commission; they are also qualified to take certification assessments from the Professional Regulation Commission – Board of Accountancy (PRC-BOA), along with other certifications from global professional accountancy organizations. Accounting professionals are involved in providing assurance and audit services for statutory financial reporting; tax-related services; management advisory services, specifically partnering in management decision-making, devising planning, and performance and control systems; and providing expertise in financial reporting and control to assist various stakeholders in making decisions.
