The Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) Major in HE–Food Service Management is a four-year degree program designed to develop highly competent, skilled, and motivated teachers in the field of technical and vocational education, with a specialization in food service and hospitality. This program equips students with the knowledge, practical skills, and teaching competencies needed to effectively handle and teach food service–related courses in secondary and tertiary institutions.

The BTVTEd Major in HE–Food Service Management focuses on culinary arts, food preparation and presentation, restaurant and catering operations, sanitation and safety standards, and hospitality management, while strengthening students’ foundation in teaching and learning principles. Graduates are trained to deliver quality instruction and hands-on training aligned with industry standards in food service management.
