CCSIT holds successful IT Summit 2026 featuring competitions, sports, and academic showcases

The College of Computer Studies and Information Technology (CCSIT) successfully held the IT Summit 2026, from April 6–8, 2026. With the theme “Reboot • Reconnect • Reinvent,” the three-day event gathered students, faculty, and technology enthusiasts for a series of activities designed to strengthen technical skills, creativity, teamwork, and innovation.

The summit opened on Day 1 (April 6) with Sports, Parlor Games, and Team Building activities. Students participated in a variety of competitions including Chant Competition, Basketball, Dodgeball, Muse Competition, Volleyball, and the Tower Building Challenge. The activities promoted camaraderie, school spirit, and collaboration among participants while setting an energetic tone for the summit.

On Day 2 (April 7), the focus shifted to Skills Competition, Academic, and Creative Events. Students showcased their knowledge and talents through competitions such as the IT Quiz Bee, Blitz Programming Competition, Arts and Graphics Design Contest, and Cosplay Competition. The day also featured the Open Mobile Legends Finals and Family Feud: IT Edition, which drew enthusiastic participation and engagement from both competitors and spectators.

The summit concluded on Day 3 (April 8) with a Seminar and Academic Showcase, highlighting the academic achievements of students. The program featured insightful discussions and Thesis and Research Presentations, giving participants the opportunity to present their work, share ideas, and learn from fellow innovators in the field of information technology.

Overall, IT Summit 2026 served as a dynamic platform for students to develop their technical abilities, creativity, and teamwork while fostering a stronger sense of community within CCSIT. The event successfully embodied its theme by encouraging participants to reboot their ideas, reconnect with peers, and reinvent their approach to technology and innovation.
