The student-athletes of ICI College proudly showcased their talent, determination, and sportsmanship during the recently concluded PRISAA 2026 competitions. Competing against strong institutions from across the region, the college achieved several notable finishes across multiple sporting events, demonstrating the school’s growing presence in collegiate athletics.
Leading the achievements was the ICI College Men’s Basketball Team, which delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament and secured the 1st Runner-Up title. Their remarkable teamwork and resilience brought pride to the institution and highlighted the strength of the college’s basketball program.
The Women’s Basketball Team also made an impressive run, advancing deep into the competition and finishing as Semi-Finalists. Their effort and determination throughout the tournament displayed the team’s strong competitive spirit.
In Sepak Takraw, ICI College showed exceptional skill and coordination, earning 4th Place in the competition. The team’s performance reflected their dedication and rigorous preparation leading up to the event.
The Chess Team also represented the college with strategic excellence. In the individual category, the team secured 6th Place, while in the team category, they finished 8th Place, demonstrating strong analytical skills and competitive focus.
Meanwhile, the Billiards Team delivered a solid performance across both 8-ball and 9-ball events:
8-Ball Men – 4th Place
8-Ball Women – 5th Place
9-Ball Men – 5th Place
9-Ball Women – 4th Place
The Volleyball Teams also competed with determination. The Women’s Volleyball Team finished in 8th Place, while the Men’s Volleyball Team secured 7th Place, both gaining valuable experience and demonstrating strong team coordination on the court.
In Badminton, ICI College athletes displayed impressive agility and skill. The Men’s Team finished in 5th Place, while the Women’s Team placed 7th Place in the competition.
Completing the list of achievements was the Table Tennis Doubles Team, which successfully earned 4th Place, showcasing quick reflexes and competitive spirit.
