SANTA MARIA, BULACAN – ICI College officially opens Academic Year 2025–2026 with its traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit, today, July 30, 2025, at Minor Basilica and Parish of La Purisima Concepcion Church.
The solemn celebration brings together students, school administrators, faculty, staff, and school leaders in prayer as they seek wisdom and divine guidance for the year ahead.
During his homily, Rev. Fr. Arvin Jay Ray Ramirez emphasizes the importance of rules and guidelines in leading a meaningful life, drawing from the Ten Commandments as an example. He reminds the congregation that these commandments are not merely prohibitions, but pathways to blessings and fulfillment, designed to guide individuals toward a purposeful life.
“These rules and regulations, these laws are made to guide us para dalhin tayo sa nais natin patunguhan para makamit natin yung nais nating maging tagumpay sa buhay,” Fr. Ramirez shares.
He explains that just as God’s commandments are not meant to take away freedom but to direct people toward happiness and order, the school’s own rules and regulations serve the same purpose. By following these guidelines, students learn, grow, and ultimately achieve their goals of success and graduation.
As ICI College steps into the new academic year, the homily serves as a timely reminder that discipline, faith, and obedience to guidance—whether divine or academic—pave the way for a brighter future.
